WHEN MAN BECOMES GOD.

A slam poem by me:

When man becomes God, slight changes occur,

your values are measured by your likes,

your opinion by YouTube clicks,

your experience by Pintrest

and your interests by Tumblr,

I could go on on and on and I'm sure you can name more.

When man becomes God, our perspectives enhance,

our lust, our sins and our pride advance,

then we so easily condemn and pronounce 

to death, to prison, to rehab, did I mention to death?!

Because by then man would have possessed

the power to give life and in the same way to take lives.

When man becomes God, we are born in lies.

Our hugs produce disgusting and irritating flies.

Everything we make, love, form or buy,

grows, flows, glows and then it dies.

We become so self-indulgent, so proud, 

so willing to take away and show off.

We become disrespectful of who and what we are 

and not even our shame cares to hide.

When man becomes God, man becomes lost.

The moon looks down and dims,

the stars fall, and the sun?

Oh our beloved sun bursts

at the sight of our lives, and cries in disgust.

Man becomes cursed.

Not only by the heavenly bodies, but also by the animals.

They watch us turn to cannibals and then to dust.

We kill the innocent and persecute the just,

and when we stop, we stop to force the trees to call them God!

When man becomes God, man ceases to exist.

Man, with all this attributes becomes extinct,

he loses the power to think.

He stares with blank eyes at the dead skies 

for hours, days and years.

Time ceases to be relevant, 

just like a party without it's celebrant.

Playgrounds are abandoned,

crimes are randomed,

the truth is forgotten.

When man becomes God, no son is begotten.

Trust is as loose as cotton-

balls and walls of protection, love, faith fall 

and everyone is deafened to their own calls.

Here no friend on Facebook, follower on Twitter,

contact on Whatsapp will help at all.

No OMG, no KMT, no TBH, and no LOL.

When man becomes God, all goes blank,

there's no cent, no dime in your bank.

Until one man, as little as a child,

sees the lack of love, faith and trust and begs GOD

to again, turn the world black

and come back to being GOD!
